Francie Paull Fruitman
Freelance Make-Up Artist
From Detroit to LA, versatile make-up artist Francie Paull Fruitman is thrilled to bring her talents to Liquid Salon. Discovering her passion for make-up and it's powerful ability to transform not only outside but inside at a very early age, Francie has been making-up the faces of friends & family since middle school. Working professionally nearly 25 years, Francie's formal make-up artist education originated at the highly reputable College-Conservatory of Music at the University of Cincinnati where she earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre Design & Production with a concentration in Make-Up & Wig Design. She continued her education at the Joe Blasco Make-up Center East in Orlando, FL where she bridged the gap between theatre & film, further studying the subtleties of beauty, character, & special FX, earning certificates in both Make-Up Artistry and Advanced Prosthetics & Design.
Francie then moved to Los Angeles where she lived 11+ years working exclusively in the entertainment industry, having the opportunity to paint the faces of a variety of celebrity clientele including Oscar, Emmy, Grammy, & Tony award winners for a variety of networks & studios. Upon her return to Detroit, in addition to salon & private event work, she took on the position of Make-Up Designer/Supervisor for Detroit Fashion Week while also continuing to regularly work in the local film industry.
What remains consistent in all avenues of her work is Francie's ability to connect with people. Consultation is everything, and Francie prides herself on taking the time to really listen to her clients. And though of course she can take you as glam as glamour can be, the request she most often hears is "I want to look like me..., but better!". Using high quality products & tools, Francie will custom blend her goodies to get the perfect match for clients of all ages & skin tones. Concentrating on creating gorgeous glowing skin and bringing out the best in your unique features, she genuinely wants you to feel as amazing as you're going to look! Esthetician & Make-Up Artist
Cora has been a licensed esthetician since 2016. After graduating from The Michigan College of Beauty, a Dermalogica partnership school, Cora began her career with Ulta working as a Dermalogica Skin Therapist. She focused on natural beauty enhancement by customizing facials and targeted treatments to combat what her clients had relayed to her as “problem areas.”
Cora's passion for makeup started at a much younger age. As a child, she was often found playing dress-up or styling other girl's hair with an array of barrettes and clips. As an adolescent, she began experimenting more with make-up. This eventually began an escape for her creating what she calls her “egos”, styled looks based on an original character vision of hers. This unique talent landed her the opportunity to travel with a group of UFE Bikini Pro competitors as their Glam Squad. She traveled across Michigan, Illinois and Ontario.
In early 2018, a wrist injury forced Cora to step away and endure several months of physical therapy to recover. By November of 2018, fully healed, Cora was welcomed to the Liquid Salon team as an Apprentice to Master Stylist, Daniel Soller.
Outside of the hours currently dedicated to her cosmetology training, Cora offers facial waxing services, specializing in brow shaping and tinting, lash lifting & tinting and makeup services for your special event.
