Bloomfield Township salon helps Locks of Love charity

Last year, Liquid Salon found a way to treat women to a day of indulgence.
Women were given the opportunity to indulge in a complimentary treatment and blow-dry service at Liquid Salon. The event led to many happy salon clients with transformed hair.
Liquid Salon, 6652 Telegraph Road in Bloomfield Township, will host the event again this year.
It will be held on Wednesday, May 26.
In addition, this year the event will be supporting a worthy organization, Locks of Love.
Locks of Love is a nonprofit organization that provides quality hair prosthetics to financially disadvantaged children with medical hair loss. The children wearing these hairpieces have lost more than their hair; they suffer from a loss of self-esteem.
Locks of Love strives to provide a foundation on which children can rebuild their self-image, and regain the normalcy in their everyday lives that most people take for granted.
Liquid Salon and Kerastase will support Locks of Love at this year’s Our Treat event by accepting a $10 suggested donations to the organizations for the complimentary rituals and blow-dry services offered at the event.

Our client Cindy Romano donated 8 inches of her lovely locks to Children With Hair Loss, an organization that donates the hair to be made into wigs for needy children suffering from hair loss. Cindy wanted to make sure her locks were donated to an organization that does not sell hair. She is an inspiration to us all.
